RICK LOTTER has worked in settings from combo and big band jazz to rock and world music and most everything in-between. Best known for his work with eclectic roots music group Mumbo Gumbo, Rick's credits also include recording and performing with the Henry Robinett Group, Bob Mintzer, Bobby Shew, Dave Leibman, Joe Gilman, Richie Cole, Jessica Williams, Buddy Montgomery, Maria Muldaur and Papa's Culture, along with numerous radio and television commercials. Rick also enjoys sharing his knowledge and experience in drumming. He has been an instructor and clinician for over twenty years, and currently teaches jazz drumming at Sacramento State University and American River College, as well at his home studio in Sacramento.
